He has such strange and weird parts that i assume only he could pull off!
He's been in a lot of stuff I liked.I loved What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (I liked the original more, but I like Johnny Depp more then Gene Wylder) and his performance as The Mad Hatter was great.
I HATED him in Charlie and the chocolate factory. Maybe because i thought the first movie was pretty good and didnt need to be remade in 2005. His character was soooo mean to the kids!!(and also that Charlie was like Jesus in that movie, constantly good and thats about it. The 196something version of Charlie was a much more human)
