Kate (22amanduskaitlynn) | 11 comments I feel the same way about those series! I had gotten the first book in third grade, but inwas never able to stick to a book at that time. So, for a long time, I've tried reading it all the way up to my fifth grade year. And all of the sudden I could read more books than I could imagine. Eventually, I had to go to a public library to they reading the second book, and it was exciting. After 5th grade, I moved into a smaller town because we needed more house, and better schools. The move hit me harder than it should've. I had to meet new people, but bein in middle school was different from the elementary school i was in. It was bigger, and many many new faces. I was super shy back then, so it was hard getting friends. So everyday in 6th and a good portion of 7th grade at lunch, I sat alone. But I always had a book with me. I never stopped reading. Eventually I had caught up in the Wings of Fire series (Tui was making more books) that I went onto Michael Vey. This series also means a lot to me. After lunch, there was this thing after lunch that we walk around in circles in the gym or outside, while we waited for our teachers to finish their lunch and get us. I was always good at walking with my face in a book. I never tripped, ran into someone, or anything. So one time while I was reading the first, second or third book of Michael Vey, a cocky boy stepped in front of me and abruptly stops. And I stopped behind him. I looked at him like, are you stupid or something?, while his friends "ooooh"ed him. I showed someone up that day. So books have always been a huge part of my life.

Thank you Naomi for bringing that up. Although this part of my life wasn't enjoyable, I had great moments with my books. Also, because I was such a quick reader, I was allowed to check out four to five books, because they knew I'd return them on time lol. :)

Kate (22amanduskaitlynn) | 11 comments Sorry this is so long. I thought sharing my life story would be a good idea. :)

Kate (22amanduskaitlynn) | 11 comments Aww thanks so much. I never new moving once would be so hard for a little while. I'm glad I did because I realized that the friends back then don't matter as much as the friends I have now, especially the homeschooled ones. But imagining having to move five different times, I don't know how well that would've gone for me and my family. Thanks so much for being able to relate. Some people don't really care or feel as much when I tell them my story because they haven't had to go through it, and or they didn't have those types of struggles. Thanks again. :) It was nice telling you this.
