Can people have dragons, in the Laraethien Kingdom, as companions of sorts??

What are some of the occupations possible for humans? At what age would people start to work usually?
Would it be possible to make a general for one of the kingdoms? ^^"
@Sarah, I would say no. The dragons are wild, as it was said in the treaty between the countries and the dragons. The humans and elves leave the dragons alone, and the dragons leave the humans alone. Plus the humans are pretty huge, except when they're new-borns. @Avery. The humans would probably do menial tasks, like maid-work, or maybe joining the army. They would probably begin work when they are twelve or so, as apprentices.
@Aubree. Yep, I think that would probably go under 'soldiers' :)
Are advisors only males (or vice versa) or is it any gender? Asking so I can organize me fc properly.
The royals have to be related, right? Also, what are the allowed species for a royal? For a dragon tamer?
Also, I've the same question that Bow has- would a Laraethien princess have Laraethien as her last name?
I know Dragons leave humans and elves alone, but would a dragon take a human or elf child under their wing (not literally) and raise him/her if let's say it found one lost and abandoned somewhere in the Ild Mountains?

So, if I wanted someone to have clairvoyant abilities, does this automatically mean they must be an Oracle? Or could there be someone with those abilities who is not an Oracle?
