Shad: Could you elaborate on that just a tad? Is the Valkyrie the person or the soul? Are they immortal in that sense since you said they're a vessel? Just trying to understand completely so I can see how she's gonna work and how their relationship is gonna work.

Yep, danke. So kinda like Hermes. But despite losing her humanity, as you stated, would a Valkyrie still have the capability for emotion?
Also, would she be able to communicate with dragons because they're not human or because they're not rooted in any world?

Awesome. And I realize I'm being hella annoying and nosy, but... How are Valkyries chosen? Are they picked out at a certain age, marked, trained from birth, or do they chose to become a Valkyrie?

I haven't decided on an fc or name for my prince yet...
I'm guessing they'd have met formally in a visit to one another kingdoms and sort of gotten to know each other. Maybe as young, young children they were very competitive? And as the hate between kingdoms grew, the competitiveness and enemy-ness between them grew, but also some tiny bit of attraction, thus love/hate?

I'll think of some more later (hide spoiler)] I'm thinking he'd be pretty cocky and got on people's nerves a lot, bur he has a kind heart and is good with children and animals ('cept dragons, of course) and I'd like to make him the second eldest prince so he was always in his older brother's shadow which made him try really hard at everything and become competitive. And because cocky attitude + attractive + good at a lot of things b/c competitive and tries hard = good with the ladies so there's another little place where it could be love/hate.

Haha, kaykay xD Hmm, still thinkin' up ideas but she's competitive? The type where she wants to be known for something else beside her ability as a clairvoyant. Expect her to be a lil bit of an attention seeker since she's also the second to the youngest (or maybe middle child, not sure). So far, that's what I've in mind for her.

^_^ sounds good, I wanted to check cause I've seen in other rps where I made a father with a really kind and loving personality towards his children get like total hatred from them. Makes my charries sad inside tbh, not to sound weird or anything.

Anywho, all I really have right now is that Dastain is very loving and caring, especially towards his family whom he always makes time for no matter what (ie- he spends individual time with all his kids and his wife, and also makes sure to attend at the least every dinner with them kinda deal) so das all I has

I like how that sounds, and I guess we can just build from their personalities and their competitive nature as children? We could say that as tensions grew, the royal families started having less and mess formal meetings, so after about the age of... 12, 13? they didn't see each other. So now they're whatever age and meeting again because... It'd make more sense for my prince to be traveling to your kingdom, maybe for political reasons, if we want to keep it official. But if you have any ideas for how they're meeting/hanging around each other, shoot that over.

it was, my dude got super depressed and I left the group before he could off himself cause his kids didn't love him. He was like my only charrie there and nothing I did or posted changed how the others acted like he was the worst dude ever.

but yeah, I figured they might have a cool connection, like if he's a bit of an empath (which would be why he's good at stuff like negotiating maybe without causing arguements by literally reading the room) it would make sense she's born an oracle or whatevs.

Chrys: a'ight, imma sleep on the issue of fc. So, he'd be like a sort of ambassador, picked because he's pretty important so it doesn't seem like Edarelia is being rude by sending someone not-important. And then maybe someone decides he'd be a good hostage and keeps him forcefully, but so as to not create MORE tension, he kinda doesn't argue on orders from his ol' pops - 'cause the pops wants to keep the peace. So as long as they don't hurt him, he stays sorta-willingly. So then he sticks around your princess more and BAM

Well, King Dastain for the Lasomething fam is gonna be super sweet and kind and loving to his family, and always makes sure to eat dinner with them and make time in his day to have alone time with them, so as long as the personality meshes with that (ie, no hating the dad since he's not a bad guy kinda deal) then you should be good as that's all I've got figured out right now lol

oh, a heads up is that I plan on using my Jamie Campbell Bower FC to make a dude who's clairvoyant but its like super powerful and has nasty side effects, really bad ones to balance out the power. So if you wanna collab on that it might take work for a relationship with him and someone else cause he'll be the kind of guy who doesn't want to drag peoples down with him because of his debilitating side effects and jazz, but it would be cute to have him have someone nonetheless
