Hi, my name is John. I'm 33, married with 2 little girls, work in the "laugh a minute" world of finance.
I never really read as a teenager but was in the cinema as a 19 year old and saw a 10 second teaser trailer for "lord of the rings" and I just had to know everything about it. Since then I have never been without a book on the bedside locker,
My preferences change like the weather, currently on a non-fiction buzz but that will change again. Favourite authors are Steinbeck, Ken Follett, Robert Harris, Michael Lewis.
I love discussing books and I always wanted to join a book club. Not too many of my close friends read a lot so I said I'd give this a go.
