Jacob (jacobaugust) | 67 comments Discussion page for Sigrid Undset, just in case anyone wants to read Kristin Lavransdatter but doesn't want to go it alone.

Jacob (jacobaugust) | 67 comments I probably won't get to it until summer/fall, but if anyone wants to tackle the book earlier than that, go ahead.

Lesley (eeevanwok) | 121 comments I adored " Kristin Lavransdatter". I have liked other Undset books very much, but KL really got under my skin. Highly recommended to anyone who is thinking of tackling it.

Dhanaraj Rajan | 3 comments Sigrid Undset is a superb writer. Seeing her name here I could not but join the group. I am yet to read her historical masterpieces. And summer is an apt time to read KRISTIN. But for those who are new to her I will also strongly recommend some of her excellent short works - Gunnar's Daughter, Jenny and Marta Oulie: A Novel of Betrayal.
