Welcome to our first monthly challenge! I have taken some common Western-”themes” and divided them into two categories, A and B, with four criteria in each. The books you read simply have to fit a single criteria, but they can fit two if they're from different categories and can be from any genre, not just western. Happy reading! :)

Category A – The main character:
✧ Is involved in a duel
✧ Is a law-enforcer
✧ Gambles
✧ Spends most of their time traveling

Category B – Miscellanous:
✧ Native Americans play a part in the story
✧ The story takes place in USA
✧ The setting is a frontier (can be any kind of frontier, including other planets!)
✧ The story takes place somewhere between the late 18th century and the late 19th century

Extra brownie points for the gambling being card games, the law-enforcer a sheriff and the traveling involving horses! ;)

Rules:
- The books do NOT have to be from the GOTM, however it is encouraged.
- One book can only fit one criteria, with one exception: it may fit two if the criteria are from different categories.
- BOTM reads can count if they fit a criteria
- There is no minimum page count.
- Sign up here and update your progress, adding the books with Add a Book. Of course you also have to let us know which criteria it fits. You do not have to chose in advance how many books you want to read.

You can couple them if you want - a book can count both for a Category A criteria and a B criteria.
