luisa Hello everyone!!
It’s been a while since we’ve been active in this group but Syl and I thought it would be nice if we could continue with our monthly book club! So if any of you have any ideas how we could improve our group or if there’s anything you’d like to talk about - let us know!
That aside, we hope that all of you are healthy and not going crazy during these difficult times!!
How is everyone doing? :) and has anyone read a good book recently that they could recommend?

Danielle Marx Hope everyone is staying safe!!

Ideas?!
Well maybe our monthly picks could be themed. You guys could pick a theme, sub genre, trope, author etc. Then we all recommend a book for the theme and vote.

Anyone else got any ideas?

luisa I actually really like the idea of choosing a monthly theme for our group books - seems a lot more interesting that way! :)

Avid | 3 comments I'm all for any of these themes, but I prefer romance that is supported by the context of a novel, which I haven't ever found in an enemies-to-lovers scenario. Every book I've ever read with that trope flips the romance on like a lightswitch. One minute they hate each other, and the next minute they're in bed declaring their undying love for each other without any substantive reason for the shift in mindset. It just ruins the whole thing for me. Consequently, I stay away from those novels, but if you have a suggestion for a novel that has substance, then I'll definitely read it!
