I think I was too harsh on the writing in part 1. I think I was just spoiled by the amazing nature that was Night Film LOL. Anyway, still really enjoying all the vampire action. The characters are really likable, but I could definitely do without the love triangle. I am flying through this one surprisingly fast.

I'm with yall. The vampire feud is cool, it makes for some conflict. Perhaps the "good" vampires will end up trying to help the humans? That could be cool.
The love triangle is a little exhausting. I'm hoping that takes a back seat once the vampires start coming out of the wood work more.

Hate to sound like a broken record, but I also think the love triangle needs to stop. Although, I was surprised at how quickly Abe gave up Lucy to Quin. I'm glad there wasn't a whole friend vs. friend fight about her, because that would have been even more annoying.
How does everyone feel about Dushko? Like everyone else, I am excited that the vampires are feuding, but I'm not sure how I feel about Dushko. At one moment he feels super powerful, like when he attacked Trevor, but then he seems very weak at other times. Is he just weak, because he hasn't fed for awhile? I wonder how he became leader?

Haha!! We all hate the love triangle! Too funny! I think I would like Dushko more if we knew more about him. I don't fully understand why he can't just leave for his homeland and let the other vampires go wild in America? He'd be long gone, why does he care that much?

I was thinking that too! Dushko is a control freak!
