Hello everyone! I'm Doris and I run Dowie's Place Blog and Events. I'm a mom to 3 boys. 2 that are new to us via foster care ages 11,6, and 4. I live in Nashville Tennessee with the boys and my hubby Jim. Originally from Kentucky, I met my husband online and moved about 10 years ago. I recently went back to school and got my music and religious studies degree and I'm a classically trained opera singer. I read constantly and my favorite genre is paranormal but I really read all sorts.

Went back to school and on my 2nd year, will be 3rd year this summer. Working on my Bachelors in Business. Once my oldest daughter is done with High School (4.5 Years) we will being going to Culinary Arts school together and hopefully starting a restaurant together and hopefully keep it as a family business. Hi! I'm Jeanine! Mom of 5 boys, 19, 18, 12, 10 & 6. All are in school full time so it's given me a chance to spend a lot of time READING!

I read everything & anything, but my go-to is almost always paranormal. I love to beta read, I'm very open & honest, mostly because typos & grammatical errors make me cringe, lol.

I will NEVER post a bad review. If I don't like a book, or find too many errors, I will personally contact the author.

I will usually review on here, as I read a lot of ARC's that aren't on Amazon yet, so it may take me a bit to copy and paste to Amazon, but reminders help!

Hi everybody, What an diverse group. Thank you Felicia for the invitation. I'm a thriller author. Traditionally published for 25 years and an indie for 5 and really loving it. I did write some contemporary women's fiction but I have always veered toward thrillers with solid relationships. The Witness Series with Josie Bates is my best known work. Those going back to school, hang tough. I worked and went to night school for my graduate work and still remember how tough it was. I have a feeling you'll get lots of support here. My kids are old (30 and 27). I've raised one writer. Have a website if your curious but won't bore you with kid stories. I love to read but am very slow. Have some great indie authors I love in all genres but I also like to explore traditionally published work. Basically, I just like a good book. Thank you again for the invite.

Hi everyone -- I am an indie author and I write in the romance/erotic romance genre. I live in Florida but was born and raised in NC. I am a new indie author and have three works published while working on my fourth and fifth simultaneously. I am married and have two children (well not so much children anymore as one is 20 and the other turns 17 in March). I love to read romance and some paranormal romance. I also run a page on FB called Sugar Sweet Publications where my goal is to help other indie authors get started by formatting, proofreading, and editing for very low prices. I also work a full time job and have three engineering degrees. I mainly read and write late at night as everyone is asleep and I feel I can concentrate better.

I'm Andrew. Thanks to Felicia for the invite. I'm from PA, have a great fiance and even better cat, and am learning more than I ever thought possible about houses since we just bought one that was built in 1887. So much fun.

I enjoy reading thrillers, mysteries and historical fiction (or any mix thereof), but I'm open to pretty much anything at least once. I have 3 books out, a series of action/adventure with a good dose of history thrown in. Looking forward to whole bunch of great books to read.

I love to read all genre, but occasionally I find a book I can't get through. I write honest reviews, but never aim to hurt an author, only guide them to become a better writer. That's what I feel we should do.
