I hope to start this one this weekend! I realized the copy I have is an ARC (I bought it secondhand and I must have missed that??), so if anything I comment on is different from the final copy, you'll have to let me know, hahaha!
I'm nearly a third of the way through this. I'm handling all the individual parts of the story well enough, and I'm breezing through the story, but I don't know how I'm actually feeling about it yet? I'm not NOT enjoying it, but equally, this feels a lot like several other science fiction books I've read.
Fortunately, one of my best friends is a PhD student currently in physics, so I've had the benefit of coercing him into explaining some of the concepts that go over my head a bit. I've texted him so much about the book already that he's started to read it, too.His take so far has been "I don't know what to say other than physics people are weird people." hahaha
ahhhh Brave and your amazing pace hahahaha. I'm 20% in, Jason 1 is in the hospital and Jason 2 just got home. This book is already MESSING with me.

I seem to be having a hard time with this book and I almost wonder if it's one of those rare occasions when the timing is just bad. Something about being in a world that is supposed to be normal and comforting but nothing is right. I'm taking quarantine pretty badly, so I think I'm in a weird headspace for this book.
