Looking for advice on which order to read Riordan books. Only got through 2 Percy Jackson books but then couldn't resist buying the Lost Hero, is it ok to start the Lost Hero before finishing the Percy Jackson series? Help Please Thanks

I dont recommend it. As amazing as the Lost Hero is, there are some major spoilers for the Percy Jackson series.
You can, the plots are different enough that it's possible to do so, but I don't recommend it. There's a lot of references you won't get, and the main idea of everything will be lost, I think. Absolutely only do this if you already have extensive knowledge of the greek gods, at the very least know all the olympians. That's all discussed in the first series, and you'll be lost otherwise.

The plots stand alone so you can definitely read The Heroes of Olympus before finishing or reading Percy Jackson and the Olympians, but as far as recommendations go.... I'd say read Percy Jackson and the Olympians first.
Perhaps but the reading isn't all that different age-wise for the two series. Either way, it's a childrens series.
