Okay, so my mom read All The Light We Cannot See, and then read the Book Theif, and didn't think it lived up to the other one at all, so I think you'll love All The Light We Cannot See if you read it!

I can get the audiobook a lot sooner but im not sure if I wanna listen to it ya know? What would you say? Is it an audiobook kind of book would you say? If you know what I mean?

I know what you mean. Lol Hmm, the biggest thing about it is it's such beautiful writing, so if it's a great reader then yes. But otherwise, I would vote just read it.

I'm trying to do an audiobook but I think it's harder to get into it. At least for me it is but you might like it

Right now I'm reading a book a day. I just reread the Little House books (raided my kids' shelves since our library is closed and I'm trying to make those books last) and am also reading The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy which has all five books of the series plus a short story, but I am counting them as individual books for a reading game (fair since they were published separately first).

Thanks for the advice Harper! I’m gonna see what the narrator is like and then decide.
And same! I listen to most of my audiobooks on at least 2x cause my brain processes way faster than those people talk xD

I used to listen to math videos at 2x cause the guy talked so slow! Hehehe

What do you listen with where you can speed it up? I am guessing not a CD player.

I use the app overdrive

I use Libby for audiobooks and they have an option that allows you to speed it up to slow it down

Yes, I figured it had to be an app. I now have some of my old audible books on this new Mac and will see if I can speed up the listening. I prefer CDs and listening off line, and if I'm driving the slower pace is good, but not all the time.

Back in the dark ages, you could get tape players where you could speed things up, but not so with CDs.

We use Hoopla for audiobooks.
