Yes! I am still reading another book, but I'm not really into it at the moment so I hope this one catches my attention better :)

I already finished this book. I liked it more than I thought I would. I was happy with the ending, but I didn't think (view spoiler)[the sisters would still be separated, but at least they still get to see each other, and they are with the boys they love. I was sad that Marie died, but she and her sister are together again. It was nice that she died for the city. I was happy that Rio got her siren voice back. I was a little disappointed when she didn't have it anymore, but she handled it better than most people would have. (hide spoiler)]

I'm at 82% and I plan on finishing tonight. I've been reading some other books in between, this doesn't seem to capture my attention for longer moments of time.

It's ok, but it's nothing special either. The writing is a bit better than in the Matched trilogy, where it annoyed me constantly, but I guess I'm just not a fan of Ally Condie's writing style.

Do you have any more thoughts on the book, Leah? I haven't looked at your spoiler since I'm not completely done yet.

I have started it. I am a couple chapters in but it isn't really holding my attention. Like you, I wasn't a huge fan of Condie to begin with. As I am not very far yet I can't say if it is better than matched. I hope it is.

I plan to read more tomorrow and over the weekend. I finally have a few days off and can try to catch up.

I also preferred this book to the Matched trilogy.

Okay so I finally made some good progress last night. I am in chapter 9.

I don't care for (view spoiler)[ the MC. I hope she ends up above soon and the cast grow as her moping is not holding my interest. Also, the book doesn't seem to be moving very fast which is a little annoying coming off of reading Angelfall which seems to move at warp speed comparatively. (hide spoiler)]

Aunt Maire (view spoiler)[ how is her name pronounced? Is it Marie or Mare? Anyone have any ideas? I think she got herself thrown in prison to instigate to sending of the sirens to above. I don't think it is actually in the works like she mentions to Rio but that this is her way of manipulating those in charge. I like her. She seems crafty. (hide spoiler)]
