So my current story flings back and forth between present time and the past a lot. Like, a whole lot. My question is, do I do something to signify a difference in time, or just hope that the reader doesn't get confused with it all.

well, usually it's pretty easy to tell but you can also just italicize the flash back part and basically say, 'she thought about the time when...'
Well with my story, my chracter goes through dreams, which is somewhat like yours maybe, and the dreams are in Italics and the present day is just regular.
Alright, I'll italicize it. Another thing, if I do italicize the flashbacks, could I get away with doing them in present tense, or should I just stick with past?
well, i'm not saying either way, i'm just saying as long as you italicize it or lead on, then you can do it whichever way you wish
Alright, I'm gonna do it. Turns out I'm quite good at writing in present tense, and I didn't want to go back to past on this story unless I had to.Thanks for the help bros.
