Dumbledore's *Reading* Army discussion

I'm reading the 3rd book. I've never read the whole series because I didnt like it very much and got bored. I'm trying again and i actually like it this time lol

oh the movies are terrible compared to the book. that's why it took so long for me to want to try reading the books again.

They're just classics like I always say to people: how have you managed to go about your life without reading them?

This book series is one of the best I've ever read. I've read it a total of 9 or 10 times. My least favorite book was book 1. Favorite book in the series is book 5. Second favorite is book 4 & 7. Can't pick!

I'm just excited to read 5 6 and 7 because i haven't read them or seen the movies!!

i've read this series many times & i love the movies, but is anyone else upset that winky the house elf was not present in the fourth movie ??
i can't be the only one.
she was my absolute favorite and actually had depth to her character and i've always been so sad that she wasn't even mentioned in the movies :(

It is the Besssssst book I have ever read!!!!! I believe that someone who hasn't read HARRY POTTER has not read anything, like reading fiction without reading Harry Potter is useless...

My favorite book is the 4th. I absolutely despise the 4th movie though, they left out so many things and didn’t even mention anything about Hermione starting S.P.E.W. which i thought was a pretty big part in her character development. The rest of the movies were okay in my opinion though.

Literally the same! 3rd was my favorite for so many years but I thank now nothing beats the thrill of learning about so many different magical species and quidditch world cuuuup!

OMG I LOVE HARRY POTTER SO MUCH. JK Rowling is my idol!!! I read a book about her and it was really cool. She used to be very poor, couldn't even afford food sometimes but was always a good writer. She came up with the idea for Harry Potter on a train and started writing. She was rejected the first few times! (I bet those publishing companies regret rejecting her). the books have so many easter eggs. I get really mad at people who have only watched the movies and then think that is good enough. Like who does that??? the movies are actually okay, like those are thick books yo can't have everything. My fav books are the first, third, fourth and seventh. Least favorite is 6th.
