*takes deep breath, prepares for all the hate I’m going to get* I don’t like Shatter Me. I read the first two books in 2019 and had no interest in finishing the rest of the series. I might read the rest now that Imagine Me is out

I read that last year. I tried to read the 2nd one this year, but I just couldn't

I did NOT like One of Us is Lying. I don't know, I thought it was really predictable and the ending was disappointing to me.
i didn't end up liking gone girl........ its very famous i know but to me personally it seemed predictable and maybe i just went in with too much of high hopes and got disappointed. i don't hate the book it just wasn't my favourite.

Yeah I didn't like the Maze Runner either.
Also- Six of Crows sucks. The characters are all whiny and the plot sucked. It was confusing and there was nothing interesting about it. I really disliked it and don’t get the hype at all:(

I didn't like Everything Everything because the whole plot didn't really make sense (how can someone get away with staying inside their whole life?) and the it just fell flat tbh.
I read 'Loveboat, Taipei' by Abigail Hing Wen recently and last time I checked it still had quite a high average rating on Goodreads, but some of it was really problematic and I hated it!
oh god, i cant believe i am saying this, i hated carry on. it was so cringy, every time we had a scene between baz and simon i just cringed, i just couldnt stand those scenes. i had really high hopes bc of all the hype, i just didnt like, which is curious since i really enjoy this type of stories. wayward son was better, not by much, but better than the first one
I didn't like The Cruel Prince.. (Please don't hate me LOL) In fact, I don't remember a thing from that book, and that says it all..
Definitely the Shatter Me series, a lot of people love it. I just couldn't, don't like the character and hated the relationship.
I think the 1st book is a lot worse than the rest, but it started getting better by the late 2nd book
I never liked Twilight. I remember reading the first book years ago but I couldn't bring myself to continue the series.
i sadly didn't like the cruel prince, i found the writing hard to read and the characters unlikable for me.
I could not stand The Darkest Minds when I read it a few years ago with my high school book club. I can't even remember why, I just hated it.
okay, right now i'm reading The Tragedy Papers, and so far i actually really don't like it. it's very much like The Fault in Our Stars and i didn't like that book despite all the hype it got.also, all sarah dessen books- idk i just can't really deal with them lol

note: i feel bad saying this bc i generally try to like every book i read....
I read Midnight Sun recently, many people like it but I didn't. Also, many people love the Caraval series. It's just not for me. There's description upon description with a severe lack of dialogue
after (the whole saga) by anna todd, i just keep reading it because i am curious about how stupid is Tessa gonna be in the next book
I read the first LOTR book but could not bring myself to read the second one. The first book, in my opinion, sucked (sorry LOTR fans, don't kill me)
I loved the Hobbit though

I watched the first movie... I liked it, but during most of it my mom and I were screaming at Frodo for being so stupid

Hahaha... If I remember correctly, that might be one of the reasons I hated the book. I mean I get it no one's perfect, but Frodo's just dumb.

oh yes. I once saw this review of Stargirl and it's a really popular book. But this one person was hating on it and wrote genuinely mean stuff. Everyone in the comments was like "you have anger issues" and "ever thought about going to therapy"
goodness. i understand not liking popular books (I personally don't like Stargirl lol) but I wouldn't do something like that!!
Yeah the person said that "it makes me wanna rip out my throat in front of my mom" or something like that it was really mean
I started reading 1984 by George Orwell but I couldn't finish it, I really didn't like it, I didn't get into the story at all...
I didn't like the Cruel Prince. Sorry, no offence to people to liked that book, put personally I just...really DESPISED it. Really. I guess one reason I disliked it so much was, in fact, because of the main character's (what's her name again? Jude, right?) personality.
I hate all the books written by an Indian Author named Chetan Bhagat. I don't know why! But still I don't like them
Smol Porg wrote: "I have that book but I gave up around 10 pages in. That was around 3 years ago or more. I don’t plan on picking it up ever again."I was about to!! It is the worst John Green book I have ever read...
Honestly, Twilight. I absolutely do not get the hype over it. I have a passion for hating that book (and its series), and mock it/hate on it with my friends whenever possible. Also, I believe the Hobbit was also mentioned somewhere. I just didn't get it, and it was a DNF for me.
I never tried reading Twilight because my sister said and I quote:"This book was so boring and pointless! I got bored after the first page! But, I forced myself to keep reading so I could judge it better. There was no plot whatsoever and it was about a crazy teenage girl. Worst book I have ever read. Even Romeo and Juliet was much better!"
😂😂😂
Hearing that made me not even bother reading the series. I mean, the plot sounded stupid anyways........
