And I really like how SJM went out of the "First guy mentioned in the book who the MC (female) thinks is hot is the guys she ends up with" thing. She literally went through 3 guys before she found the one

I know! That's one of the things I like about her books. The MC never ends up with the first choice. Like in real life, you fall in love many times (maybe) before you find the one. And I like that she represents that.

Like, in every book the guy that is mentioned in the back of the book, or the summary, is usually the guy the MC ends up with.

Not in SJM though!
