What have you been meaning to read? Do you remember when you first wanted to read it?

If you enjoyed this, check out her novel The Thirteenth Tale. I loved the absorbing, richly atmospheric story which stayed with me long afterwards.

Denise | 3 comments City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert. I did not love Signature of All Things, so even though I have been hearing great things about this book, I kept putting it off. I'm glad I finally took the plunge! The audiobook narrated by actress Blair Brown is fabulous!! I think it would be a great read alike if you liked the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.

Chelsea | 5 comments I finally got around to Elevation by Stephen King. It was short, kind of sweet, and not at all scary. The book is really all about people in the town of Castle Rock divided and making an effort to get along while the main character deals with an unknown disease that causes him to rapidly lose weight. It's sort of a feel-good story that made me smile and laugh since I also feel that way about It during some moments within that massive book.

As much as we love King at his creepiest, many of us have a weakness for the unexpected softer side that sometimes comes out in his stories. But what a surprise to hear you link it to It -- that's great insight!
