Crazy for Young Adult Books discussion

Yay! This one sounds good! I can't wait!!

I may be silent in the morning tomorrow (at a friend's house) and start reading in the afternoon but I'll update as early as I can :)

That is okay. I'm not sure when I'll start, but it will probably be late morning or early afternoon. I'll just post every 5 chapters, as usual.

I've read the first 5 chapters of this, and it is fun and enjoyable so far.

Claire (view spoiler)[I like how she is doing this show for both herself and for Miranda. It was originally a revenge idea for Miranda, but I feel like she now really wants to be on the show herself too. (hide spoiler)]

Around the World (view spoiler)[Based on the email that Claire and Miranda got, I think this show is going to be fun and quite an adventure. (hide spoiler)]

Will Divine (view spoiler)[I like him and his flirtations with Claire. It will be interesting to see how this plays out on the show. (hide spoiler)]

Miranda (view spoiler)[I didn't like how she acted during the first audition, since she was clearly patronizing to Claire. I'm not sure why she did that. I don't know if that's really how she feels about Claire, or if she didn't really mean what she was saying. (hide spoiler)]

I've now read through chapter 10 and this is a really fun and quick read. I really like it, and I'm having trouble putting it down since I'm enjoying it so much.

the twist (view spoiler)[I definitely didn't see the dating twist to this show coming, but I was glad that Claire ended up with Will as her partner. I think the dating element adds an extra exciting twist to the story as well. (hide spoiler)]

Will (view spoiler)[He is so sweet and I really like him. I am definitely rooting for a relationship between him and Claire. I think they would be a good couple, and I like reading their interactions with each other. (hide spoiler)]

Miranda (view spoiler)[I was glad she didn't end up with Samir, because she probably would have been really mad about Claire convincing her to join the show if she had ended up with him. (hide spoiler)]

I've now read through chapter 15, and I'm really enjoying this book.

Troy (view spoiler)[I liked seeing how he had more hidden depths than what he had originally shown. (hide spoiler)]

Miranda (view spoiler)[I don't think it was fair of her to get upset at Claire because she helped Claire. (hide spoiler)]

That's okay. I'll be here to discuss when you do read it. I just finished it at 2:30 in the morning, so I think I can say that I loved this one. I couldn't put it down a lot of the time.

I'm glad I loved it too. And yeah, I was up pretty late because of this book.

reality tv (view spoiler)[I don't watch it either, so seeing her obsession with it was interesting. I don't watch it, but I've liked every reality TV book that I've read so far, which isn't that many, but is still a few. (hide spoiler)]

this book is so wonderfully adorable right now. I'm nervous about a twist that will make it a sad or tough book

I'm glad you loved this too. Also, I looked at the threads to check, and you were one of my reading buddies for both Something Real and Reality Boy, so you were right about reading the reality TV books with me.

Yep, I seem to enjoy books like this, so I will keep my eye out for any other reality TV books.
