Rolla Public Library discussion

I support the city's decision to protect us all from covid 19, but a physical library is almost essential! I hope everyone is enjoying ebooks, anyway!

Apparently Twitter and Facebook are the platforms of choice for the Rolla librarians. Sorry, but I don't miss you enough to join there. But any of you lurkers who do have those accounts, be sure to 'friend' (or whatever) the library there!

My husband reports that there are two pairs of boxes of books put up by the Rotary Club on the Acorn Trail. They resemble newspaper boxes (if you remember those) or Little Free Libraries )but aren't branded that way). He says they need donations! So if you're reading some of the books that have been accumulating dust on your shelves while you're hunkering down, as I am, donate to those substitute libraries... and maybe find your next read there, too!
