I've recently listened to 5 Charley Davidson books and Lorelei King does a great job. It took a bit when I listened to the first one because she also does the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich and she WAS Stephanie to me. Now she's totally Charley. When I listened to Bone Crossed by Patricia Briggs it threw me off yet another time because all of a sudden she was Mercy too. It was fairly easy to separate her Mercy from the other two series because the writing of Briggs is a lot different.
The writing of Darynda Jones' Charley Davidson and Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum has similar humor so it was a little harder to separate the two.

So, I have an issue with Lorelei as stephanie plum. I so preferred the first narrator for the series over Lorelie. Her name is C.J. Critt and I really liked her in series. When it switched over to Lorelie, I actually started reading the books. :(

And now that I think about it it wasn't even Stephanie's characters that Lorelei turned me off on, it was Lula and Grandma Mazur. Critt's interpretation was sooo much better in my opinion.

I actually read most of the Stephanie Plum books myself. From book 19 or so and then switched to audio so I never heard anyone other than Lorelei as Stephanie. I've listened to CJ Critt before and like her as well but for me Lorelei is Stephanie but I could see how a change in narrators mid-series would be bad.
