Another book that I really liked. I listened to the audio version, and I think the voice made it even better! I give it 4/5.
4/5 I listened to this book when it first came out. Elizabeth Acevedo, herself, did the narration and you could tell. There was such passion in her voice you felt like she was talking to you face to face. Find yourself and be yourself!
4/5 The audiobook is a must! I love Acevedo's narration. I really enjoyed the fact that Emoni had a kid, but the focus wasn't on the woes of motherhood. It was about her accomplishing her goals and making her life better for her and her baby.
5/5. I loved this book. I loved all of the characters; it was so real. Emoni had such passion, and she was so hard working. I think teens will enjoy this book, especially if they connect with it, which I think quite a few can.
