I was really glad to see that this book was on the ARTBA list. The author is a Muslim woman who wears a burka and she is an absolute delight. We need more representation of young women of diverse backgrounds.The book itself was a great fantasy read. I loved the world building that connects to the legends and myths of the Middle East while still creating its own world that's completely unique. It was a 5 star read for me.
