2.5/5 okay, I’ve actually had this book read for over a long while now but I’ve been trying to figure out what to say about it. I’ve got such mixed feeling about it. Parts were good and funny and then there were parts that felt like they were just thrown in there to fill space.

I like that it brings to light that you need to be in charge of your own protection to make sure you’re as safe as can be.

I don’t like how it pretty much just glanced at the most serious subject (abortion) and made it out to be just a simple thing. No surgery is just a simple little thing where right afterwards you will be running and climbing and such, much less an abortion.

I don’t like how it made girls out to be weak and like she couldn’t keep the baby or give it for adoption or keep it and still go to school.

I do like how an old friendship was rekindled and false friends were brought to light but I felt the characters needed more.

I don’t know. I just feel like the whole book needed more. Meh
