I've always loved a retelling or spinoff of a classic fairy tale or folk tale. This one did not disappoint. It is interesting to hear a story from the view of other characters.
3/5 for this one because it didn't really keep my attention. I don't normally read fantasy books though, so that may have been a factor as well.
