"We can head to the lab, there I we can work on tracking the problem, and it gives me a believable excuse for being late." Evelyn said
"It would be a believable excuse, If you didn't already get caught" A voice behind them said.

Slowly Evelyn and Carter turned around to see Tony Stark with his arms crossed. By the look on his face, he was not happy

"With all due respect Mr. Stark I just got into town and Evelyn had to skip school. Also I bumped into Evelyn on the street. I talked to her and took a phone call. I did not realize she was on a scheduled. It's my bad" Said Carter. "I'll take the blame"

"Is this true?" Asked Stark. He was now holding a screw driver in his hand and looking between the two of them.

"This time it is." Evelyn gave a quick smile and asked why they were called.

"First, you can tell me why you used your powers at school Evelyn and why there are 4 ravener demons loose today?" Stark complained

"I don't think the first question is that important at the moment" Evelyn stammered "but 4 RAVENER DEMONS, Why were they loose, how did they get out!"

Carter turned to Evelyn "You used your powers at school today? Don't you go to a regular human High School?"

Carter looked at Evelyn thinking about how many minds they might need to wipe.

"My question first, why didn't you tell me that 4 of them got loose? I could of used my powers to stop them." Evelyn said

"Not with people around you couldn't." Tony replied "You are grounded until we get this sorted out, and you will tell the Team (avengers) why you used your powers today too. Head to the lab first with carter and finish your "project".

Evelyn angrily walked to the lab with Carter close behind

Emma Portaled in right in front of where Evelyn and Carter were standing. "You were talking about the demons, weren't you?" Emma said. "How many times have I told you mundanes: Leave the demons for the Shadowhunters! You need to stop interfering; by the Angel, you shouldn't even be able to see through the glamours, save the fact that I had Magnus give you the sight. Mundanes! Jace was right." Emma glared.

"If I have powers, I have to use them, I don't want to be stuck training all day, I'm not a kid that needs training wheels. I'm ready for more that this". Evelyn complained "They won't even let me go on missions with them, but they let Peter go.
UGG, Its not fair!!!"

"Hey don't look at me. I'm just here. And first off I'm not a mundane. I'm a mutant." Said Carter "And second off keeping your identity safe, Evelyn, is one of your most important thinks. Please at least try to put something over face to hide your identity." Carter said rolling his eyes
Carter walked over to the big computer and woke JARVIS up.
"I'm going to ask J if he can do a quick sweep of the city. See if he can pick up any irregularities."

"Carter? Anyone that's not a Downwolder is a mundane, according to the 2012 Accords. Although I will talk to the clave about mutants . . . Alec, as Consul, would surely add Mutants. But I am so not Consul, so take it up with, like, I don't know, Alec? But you don't know Alec, so I'll probably talk to him when I see Iz. And demons won't pop up on your mundane scanner. Here; try my Sensor; James made a couple modifications, so it goes long range now." She tossed her Sensor to Carter, who caught it.

"Good idea, we can't allow any more to escape. Too many casualties." Evelyn said

"I'm not picking up any traces of that life form' Jarvis said, Should I contact Mr. Stark to do a more thorough search of the city?"

"No" Evelyn quickly added, "No, we can do this on our own".

"Sir" Said JARVIS in his british accent "Would you like me to scan for any breaches that would have brought them here too?"
"You know me well. Do that too if you don't mind" Replied Carter

"It was probably just a normal occurrence of demons. There are demons everywhere; they're normal for Shadowhunters. So, like I said, please keep your mundane heads out of Shadowhunter business. I should probably get a Silent Brother to wipe your memories, but then I would have broken the secret, but Magnus said you had a little sight . . .ugh! I wish Mina were her." Suddenly, Emma crumpled to the floor, sobbing.

"Hey Emma It's fine. Hodge knows we help out from time to time."
said Carter "I sure he won't mind us helping just a bit. I just want to check. Make sure it is nothing big. If that is not fine with you then we won't take a look. There are civil---"

"Match found" reported JARVIS "Two breaches were located in Brooklyn"

"I hate Hodge with all of my heart and soul. I would never have told him anything. And besides; you don't get what it's like to have your parabatai separated from you every day 'cause she's in "exile" with her parents. It hurts so much, and Mina . . . I'm going to go kill those demons. Maybe then I'll feel better." Emma dissapeared.
(IRL Em just went to the New York street)

" Wait, we need a plan." Evelyn protested

"You catch up with her and I'll grab the weapons" replied Carter

"But this thing is in Brooklyn Now, If we don't plan this carefully It could get away and we could have some casualties." Evelyn said
"Lets grab everything that we need and then see where that "thing " is headed."

Jasper, I barged in with Root running along besides me, and looked around. I said, "Evie, I don't see anything." Suddenly, Root let out a small shout of alarm, and I whirled around, just in time for a wave of red energy to blast me backwards and pin me against the wall.

Red was there, along with Graham. She lashed out with a tendril of power, incapacitating Red. She then threw a throwing star at Graham’s head.

((whos red again? i thought that graham was red...))

Matt: Jasper wrenched me free from the wall, and I shot a wed grenade at the both of them, and it blew them out of the room into the hallway.

((Nope :) See there are two djinn we have fought: Red and the Alpha (Graham). Red is Graham's main cronie, which is why Em incapacitated him so easily. Graham's power is black, though, and sometimes gives Ems those blinding headaches.))

Graham stalked out of the room, a swirling abyss forming in his hands. It was reminiscent of a black hole.

"Oh no you don't" Evelyn threw a huge purple spark of anger toward Graham's black hole. It hit with a BIG BLAST!!

((BIG BLAST!! XD))
The black hole sucked in the electricity. Graham smiled coldly.
"Did you really think that would work?"

"Eh, worth a shot, and it DID work, I got you distracted!😜"
At that moment Matt swung in.

Emma shouted,
"Nice one!"
As she snuck up behind Graham. Suddenly, he grabbed her and put a knife to her throat. Emma suddenly stood still, her eyes wide.
"Now you have to listen to me," he said with a grin.

Evelyn trying to untangle the wires on her saw Graham grab Emma. "Could you discuss your plan after I untangle these wires, they are kind of twisted and some are life support soooo it will be kind of hard to talk to someone once they are dead. Just one second......I'll be right with you." (Evelyn untangles the wires while turning some of her weaponized inventions secretly)

Graham narrows his eyes and holds out a hand.
"Stop, or Emma dies," he says.

"I said I'll be right with you." Evelyn said impatiently. " You have a plan so you won't lose that thought, but you can't have a little manners? You could of at least said Please stop."

Graham pushed the knife in harder, and Emma felt a drop of blood well out from under it.
“Stop,” Graham commanded.

"I'm sorry, do you want a live audience? It's a matter of life and death for me right now................And now it's one for you too." Evelyn hit a button and immediately over 100 pieces of metal whooshed into the room.

Graham blasted them with a wave of dark power, and Emma felt the knife dig into her throat more.
“Evie, stop.” She choked out. “He isn’t bluffing.”

"Neither am I." She said seriously this time. The metal pieces immediately rushed onto Emma forming something like iron man suit but with more modifications. They enclosed on Emma causing Graham to step back in surprise.

The knife has flown away from her, and Emma was surprised. Graham glared and put up a wall of darkness between Evie and him/Emma.
“I’ll be back,” he hissed in Emma’s ear, and disappeared.

"Emma are you ok?!"

Emma nodded weakly, drawing an iratze tune in her arm. The scratch on her throat healed.

Matt: I groaned, "Im not." They looked over to see a spear of black energy protruding from my stomach.

((Oh no ☹️))
Emma quickly rushed over and grabbed it in her hand, draining it and turning it into her own power.
“Can you help him, Evie?”

I pulled my hand away and saw no blood. I looked down at my stomach and all there was, was a hole in my suit. I murmured, "Huh, strange."

“Very,” Emma said.

"I-I can try." She said nervously. Evelyn moved her hands so her power went out into thin strands. It wrapped around the open hole and formed a glowing sort of stitches. "Emma pass me the regeneration scanner. We only have one shot of this."

Emma passed her the machine.

"And NOW!" The machine scanned the surrounding area and filled in the whole in his suit. "That wasn't that hard, I sometimes use that tactic when peter and I go behind tony's back on missions..............And rip our suits."

Matt: I looked at it and said, "Brand new! Thanks Evie. But um, any explanation for why im not dead?"

"Emma? You want to answer that." Evelyn said
