Rather than having a group book we're all reading for May, let's just talk about whatever we happen to be reading. In addition to the Hoopla Book Club pick, The Mountains Sing, I just started listening to The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, which my husband has been harassing me to read for years. It's so brilliant! I can't wait to finish it.

What about the rest of you?

Nedra Petro | 2 comments I’m going to mention two books. First, Dreyer’s English. An Utterly Correct Guide to Clarity and Style. I know this will not sound interesting to most, but I loved this book. The author, Benjamin Dreyer is witty, with an easy style that I thoroughly enjoyed. Plus, I learned something. Lots of things actually. Second, I am about to start Hillbilly Elegy, a book I have been wanting to read for some time. I’m sure many book club members have already read it. I’m happy I have the time to read it now. I will seriously consider The Prime if Miss Jean Brodie next.

The Dreyer book actually sounds fascinating! But that sort of thing is really up my alley.

Hope you all are well. Miss you today! Here's my review to The Mountains Sing, which I just finished over the weekend.
