Located within the courtyard are the baseball court and memorial statue dedicated to the memory of Jean Grey. Previously a swimming pool and a Phoenix-shaped memorial statue were located in the courtyard.

Carter Walked out onto the court yard. He was tired after training and he needed a break from the others. He sat on the steps looking at the trees and sipping at Root beer.

Emma jumped out of the Portal Magnus had made for her and started walking towards the courtyard of the Xavier institute. She carried a notebook and a book in her hands, and her whip was coiled around her arm like a stylish bracelet. As she walked towards the front doors, she saw Carter sitting on the steps. She immediately barreled turned to the side to try to sneak up on him from behind. She took the long route, finally ending up behind him. She suck up quietly.
"Boo!" she said quickly. Suddenly, the smell of root beer filled the air. She walked around and sat beside Carter, he sundress spreading around her legs. Carter had root bear dripping of of him, the empty can in his lap. Emma smirked.
"Sorry about that, Carter!" He glared silently. "I didn't see the root beer." she said sheepishly. Carter shook his head.
"You're probably wondering why I'm here. Aunt Tessa wanted me to visit some of my mundane friends, so here I am! Now come on. I want to meet some new people!" Emma stood up quickly, smoothing her dress out.
"You know what?" she asked. "Maybe you should go change." She then opened the doors to the Xavier Institute and skipped inside.

Carter lifted up the empty can and threw it away. He quickly followed Emma into the house. He changed into a new pair of clothes. Jeans and a White tee shirt with gold markings of his symbol. He also put on his favorite jacket and jogged downstairs.
He saw Emma.
"Next time. A little warning would be great" said Carter.

"Heh. Yeah. Sorry about that." Emma tucked her hair behind her ear. "Can I meet your friends?" she asked. "They seem to be . . . special."

"Of course. Professor X would love to meet you. Special in a good way I hope?" asked Alex "He is in the lab down stairs. We were working on a code for one of our projects. I'll introduce you to the others after we talk to Professor X."

"Of course. Is Professor X your teacher? And what [project were you working on? Are you Carter's friend?"

"They are brothers. We are all brothers and sisters. Meet Alex who many know as Havok brother of our Cyclops. Currently a good man I hope."said Kurt. He had bamfed into existence just a little to the side of Solair. The blue demon like figure perched on top of a fence. Peace prevailed in his mind. He looked like a statue. It was incredible that they had Angel here too. Symbolizes the Symphony and Harmony.

(Which Alex is this? The mutant X-man or an Avenger or A very bad villain who was a tortured hero or a Hellion.)

Evelyn walked out shortly after Emma, "Whoa, where is this place. I have traveled around the world but this is whoa" As she started to look around, she spotted Emma, Carter and another person she didn't exactly recognize. Evelyn walked over to where the group was standing. "So, where did Magnus lead us"?

"He gave us a contact, but I decided that we should come get Carter first. Anyways, I wanted to meet Carter's friends. Alex is new, as well as . . . whoever this is." Emma pointed to Kurt. "Who is this Professor X? Why is he so important?"

"I'm Carter's best friend. Here come this way. I'll take you to Professor X. He runs our institute and takes in any mutants that need help learning how to control there powers. That is how he found Carter and me." Said Alex

"He is also the head of the X-Men" Continued Carter walking down the hall. Carter looked at Alex. "It's ok. They know. Alex this is Emma and Evelyn. My other 2 best friends. I'm sad to deliver the news, but you are not the only one."

"I'll try to hide my disappointment." Said Alex

Emma smirked, then turned towards Alex.
"Mmmm. Sorry about that. Life's full of disappointments." Emma flipped her hair over her shoulder and turned her head to talk with Evelyn. The girls chatted until they had made their way to Professor X's office. Emma didn't look at Alex once, doing a very good job at keeping the joke at just that. Suddenly, the door opened, and Professor X wheeled out.
