I'm Ellie. I'm a Scottish native currently living in the central US. I'm single mum to my 14 year old son. I once aspired to be a writer but I'm self-employed and that eats up most of my time. When I do have a spare moment these days chances are high my nose is in a book. Like most Scots I am pretty blunt and sweary.

Hi friends, I’m new to the group. I’m 25 years old and I live in the United States. I absolutely loved reading as a kid but I’ve been struggling to get back into reading because of a major depressive episode I had 😭🤷🏼‍♀️ so excited to be in this group!

Hi, thank you for letting me join your group. I am 54 and just moved to Seven Lakes, NC (about a 1 1/2 hr drive from Raleigh) from Islip, NY. Actually, it’s been 4 years now, but it still feels new. I spent most of my life in NY.

I have an 18 year old daughter who is in College now. She is doing great considering she started Freshman year during Covid.

I spend a lot of time on Goodreads b/c I just love books. I always have and always will. I learn so much and like many different types of books.

It’s great to meet other really interesting people who feel the same way.
