Nancy Leindecker | 11 comments Hello Benjamin
Sorry I have not checked this thread in years. I crave the tranquility of nature and need open spaces. I moved to the city for work 14 years ago. I was raised on a farm and have spent much of my free time in nature. If I did not have a camp (yes camp not a cottage) to go to, I would not be able to stay here. I get anxious when I don’t have time to go out and enjoy the outdoors; the sights, the smells and the quiet. Reading other's adventures helps refresh the feelings I have when walking/hiking/canoeing in the wilderness. I learn from their experiences how to better appreciate the wilderness, how to be safe and how to let it fill my soul.

Are you enjoying the book?

John Farnsworth (jsfarnsw) | 2 comments I am. The first 50 pages were a little slow, perhaps because I'm familiar with agroecology, but it picked up at the point where Marzluff started getting out of Nebraska and more into Montana and Colorado. Some good energy there.
