Cassia sat in the middle of the hard wooden floor, tired eyes wide open, awaiting what lurks outside. Her breathing was shallow, her body slowly draining away. Fear sprang through every vein. No sleep tonight. All she wanted was someone, anyone to help her.
She got up and left, roaming into the night.
