Yes. At this point we didn't know anything about Cade. I worried that he was using Kaylie. His friends are not good people.
I was terrified for her until I got a better sense and feel for Cade. She could have been at serious risk.
I was worried. It was easy to tell that these guys were no good. At least Cade decided to move away from being friends with them for Kaylie's sake.
Robin, I think he moved away from them not only for Kaylie but for himself. He wasn’t liking them very much.
I agree; he began to see the light and to choose more healthy relationships rather than hanging out with that crowd.
I was scared to death of what might happen. I was really glad the author didn't go there. Cade is a good guy, but before Truman arrived even he was starting to drink with his "friends". I was really worried at that point that he might not or would not be able to protect her.
Yeah, it looked bad there for a minute. I read a similar scene in a book recently... and it didn't end so well. Glad Truman got there but I think Cade is a stand up guy and would have protected Kaylie if his friends got out of line.
