I was about to watch this show on Netflix this week, but decided to check if it was a book first. And, it is!! I am super excited to read the book now so I can watch the series. Anyone else already give the book or show a go?

Isela (iselalc) | 1 comments Awesome! I had no idea it was a book series. I started watching it on Netflix and got caught up on all episodes. I might look into reading the books now :)

IT'S A BOOK SERIES!?!?!??!?! You people just made my day; I've been watching this every week, now I can read the books too!

Shiira I loved the show, then i found out it was a book and i read that and its a really good book. Rather than being upset that the book and show are so different i think of that they are two totally different things and its so much better that way :)

YES!! I love that I am not the only one freaking out to know it is a series! haha I just got it from the library so if I do not get it it in the next few days I will be enjoying it on my vacation. Then I can watch the show once I am home.

Oh, and in case you guys missed it...it's 3 BOOKS!! A whole series!! YAY! haha They need to make more shows out of books instead of movies that always fall short! Sure, it may still change things and not be "perfect" but is a lot more likely to get it right in a whole season(s) than just a 3 hour go at it! :)

Breann (ladygeekface) I love the book AND the show. However, bookfreak is right. The two are so different. The first book features a lot of flashbacks and does feature a view of the ground through Clark and others. The show leaves out Glass, an escapee from the dropship, who shows us a view of what's going on in the Ark after the others are sent down. The show is actually good despite the differences. Also, Finn doesn't exist in the book. I really need to read the second book. I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I just started the book last night and although I am only like two chapters into it I am really loving it! I cannot wait to read more and also watch the show. If only I had someone to unpack my luggage for me I could start reading more right now! ;)

AMAZING!!!!! The first book was AMAZING!!!!!! I was up WAY too late last night to finish it and it was great! I think I am going to read the next one before I start watching the show though. I don't want to risk ruining the shock of how the books lays things out!

So I watched the first half of the first season and kind of stopped....I also haven't read the third book yet. But I still really love it all. Although the show changed so much it's kind of annoying. But it also is still a good story more or less, and it will be interesting to see how they handle different things from the book and all that.
