1. How many books are too many for a series?
I don’t think there’s such thing as too many. As long as I enjoy a series, and the books continue to be well written and interesting, I’ll keep reading them!
2. How do you feel about cliffhangers?
The only time I’m cool with them is if I can immediately get my hands on the next book. However, cliffhangers on books that aren’t a part of series are not cool with me lol.
3. Hardcover or paperback?
I like hardcover because they look better on my bookshelf, and they stay nice. I can’t stand when I’m reading a paperback and the cover gets bent back from holding it open.
4. Favorite book?
Ugghhh that’s a hard one. I’ll give you a list
- Harry potter
- House rules by Jodi Picoult
- They both die at the end by Adam Silvera
- One of us is lying by Karen M. McManus
5. Least favorite book?
The nest by Kenneth Oppel. That book pained me to read, and was just so absurd and ridiculous.
6. Love triangles, yes or no?
Unless it’s written really well, I don’t usually like them. They usually come off pretty cheesy, and I just don’t really like romance in general.
7. The most recent book you couldn’t finish?
Genuine fraud by e. Lockhart. I just couldn’t get into it, and it’s told backwards which is pretty hard for me to keep track of.
8. A book you’re currently reading?
Sadie by Courtney Summers
9. Last book you recommended to someone?
Percy Jackson to my little brother lol.
10. Oldest book you’ve read by publication date?
Anthem by Ayn rand (published 1938).
11. Newest book you’ve read by publication date?
One of us is next by Karen M. McManus (published January 7th, 2020).
12. Favorite author?
I don’t really have one, but I guess I really like Megan Miranda’s books.
13. Buying books or borrowing books?
I will always buy if I possible. However, I’m often unable to so I tend to borrow my books from my old English teacher, because she has similar taste to me and always buys the newest books for her classroom.
14. A book you dislike that everyone seems to love?
The sun is also a star by Nicola Yoon. God, I hated that book so much and I honestly have no clue how I finished it. The idea of the two strangers literally falling in love in one day is just ridiculous, and I just really didn’t like this book.
15. Bookmarks or dog ears?
Always bookmarks!! Only psychopaths dog ear lol.
16. A book you can always re-read?
Harry potter (obviously lol) and they both die at the end. I feel like they both die at the end is a really good book for re-reading, since you know how it’s going to end, even on the first read. It still gets me every time I read it, though :’(
17. Can you read while listening to music?
Never. I have a hard-enough time focusing and comprehending when it’s completely silent. I also tend to whisper read to myself because it helps me to stay focused.
18. One point of view or multiple?
My favorite genre is YA mystery, and a lot of those books have multiple points of view. I honestly don’t have a preference. As long as I can follow the book, I’m cool with it :)
19. Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?
Usually multiple days, but if it’s a really good one, I can read it in one sitting.
