Hey!
Here you can talk about books you loved, books you hated, ask a recommendation or make a recommendation!
Basically, you can talk about anything you want as long as it's related to books!

Monique S. (monique1109) At school ( a lifetime ago) I was bombarded with Latin and ancient Greek, read most of the saga's (admittedly in translation) and formed my own view of those "heroes", particularly those in the Iliad.

One of the worst interpretations I have ever encountered is the Xena series, even though I think Lucy lawless is really very sexy. ;)

Anyway, I am a great fan of Penthesilea and her Amazons.

Quinley (Phoenix_Bluefeather) (phoenix_bluefeather) | 109 comments I really enjoyed reading We Goddesses: Athena, Aphrodite, Hera I felt it retold the myths very well from their point of views.
And I am hoping I can find My Mothers' Daughter which s told through the point of views of Artemis, Leto, Persephone, and Demeter and it is on my shelf somewhere.

Quinley (Phoenix_Bluefeather) (phoenix_bluefeather) | 109 comments In terms of Norse mythology, I am rereading two Norse mythology books. One of them is written by Neil Gaiman and I think it is one of my favorite retellings of the myths.
