Hi, I'm Maia, and recently joined this group. I don't see any active conversations here so not sure if you are still "gathered." Wanted to let you know I will be reviewing inspiring eco books in the year ahead, on my blog. Always happy for new recommendations for a good read. Happy New Year!

Hi Maia, I am new here & new on Goodreads, & I am feeling my ways along. I taught Forestry for 30 years & I am now retired.
My novel, THE FORESTER deals with how different people view, value, & conflict in their relationships with nature. It is also a love story, an adventure story, & I think an environmental story for our time. The classic environmental conflict materializes in a marriage & Kirk, THE FORESTER, must find his place in nature by pursuing a reluctant journey requested by his dying wife. I don't want to give the story away, so I will stop & let you decide if this is a story that you might be interested in.
