It is raining all of a sudden here. And being a pluviophile I couldn't wish for more. The petrichor overwhelms me. The cold breeze, shaking trees, pitter-patter rain drops, the absolute darkness, the rumbling sky, the one to one with nature... Ah... these surprising showers make summer tolerable.

There's a chill in the spring air, newly popped flower buds cowering towards the moistened ground. Waiting for Sol to show her face again.
It's sunny, hot, and humid here in Virginia, but we are expecting rain and high winds to start later today from hurricane / tropical storm Isaias. I don't expect we'll get the worst of it because we are a bit off the coast.
Very unlike August in the Midwest. This morning as I write this message it is 59 degrees. A usual early August morning would simmer in at around 70 or so. Humidity is low, too.
Finally we have some relief from the heat with a prediction of only 91 degrees F. After a heat wave that included 100+ degrees including at least one day of 111, I’m happy for cooler weather. On the other hand, our air quality is unhealthy due to all the fires in California. Skies are a thick smoky gray or an unreal thick smoky orange and it’s not pretty; it’s weird.
Very hot and humid. Can bear the heat but the humidity is draining. Could do with a little nip in the air.
It's September but it's still hot. I don't like summer and I am tired of the heat so I m eagerly waiting for winter.
Auroral rays creep down the colorless wall at vision's edge, shimmering a canvas in purple, then blue, green, yellow, orange, rippling to joyful white. The brilliance announces the new day at a vitality that suggests there had never been one as such before nor would there be again, nudging me to wax poetic for no other reason than to chuckle at opportunity. ;o)

At present it is midday and 34C outside. The prediction for tonight is thunderstorms and possible flooding.

It is 81℉ and sunny here today, which is warmer than typical. We are expecting cooler weather (high of 55℉) and rain tomorrow. Average weather here is I think in the 60s this time of year.
Where I live in the Central Valley, California it is a beautiful, sunny but cold day at 61 degrees F. But for some of you that's probably warm. LOL
Foggy and damp. Cool enough for animal prints in the wet snow, but warm enough to escape needing mittens or a scarf.
It was beautiful out here today, 70℉ and sunny. We took the dogs for a nice long walk after Thanksgiving dinner (just the two of us). It's going to be about 10° cooler tomorrow.
The thunderstorms started midweek but luckily the torrential rain held off until Thursday when I was working from home. I was worried how DH would get back from work because of the flooding but he was OK. Yesterday was a little drier but it started raining again this morning.
The news claims this is the wettest November in 26 years.
