Yay! Giselle was talking to me about this on voxer already, so I'm excited to be a part of it! My youtube channel is pretty easy. It's just my name. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCb-q...I'm already known for reading a lot of middle grade, so this group is right up my alley.

Hello all! My name is Jenny and even though I am an adult, I mainly read Y/A. Reason being is they are fun and light and isn't that why we read, for enjoyment sake? I have never really read much Middle Grade...maybe when I was IN that age bracket, but not since then. But a bunch of them sound like fun and I can bet most I have never read before...including Lemony Snicket. Glad to have a group to keep me motivated!

Is it okay if I do not read the series as you are reading it but join the book discussions since I have already read the books? I have joined because I love The Series Of Unfortunate Events and the books discussed in the Book Recommendations discussion are books that I have either read or want to read or by authors I like. Overall I think that this group has goodreaders that like the same books I do. By the way, this group has a very nice name!

I have read A Series of Unfortunate Events, some of them multiple times, and I just finished reading "Who Could That Be At This Hour?" I may begin the Series of Unfortunate Events over again, or I may wait and occasionally discuss until you all have moved on.
So many of the books Giselle mentioned in her announcement video made me very happy! Several I've already read, and there are several more that I've had my eye on. ...Basically, I'm super excited. :3

Hi,I'm T.L. Jones and I'm a writer. I just published the Kindle Edition of "Peter and the Band of Pirates," a Peter Pan prequel and I've written "Santa Takes A Holiday!" about Santa's Hawaiian Holiday. I am a grown up, but I mostly read children's series books and young adult as they seem the most adventurous and magical to me. I like stories with kids and animals and treasure hunting! Several books I read as a young person remain vivid in my mind: Charlotte's Web, Johnathan Livingston Seagull (which was all about the joy of flying for me, I didn't think on any serious themes some take a way from it) and a serious book I read in 9th grade, All Quiet On the Western Front. I encourage people to read and want to do more reading myself.
