The country is in its death throes.

The infected are getting stronger. Warlords are rising up to carve off sections of the country for themselves. Amidst all of this chaos a trio of siblings stand tall. Aligned with a key group of power players in this apocalyptic setting they work to weave back together the tapestry of a fragile nation. At the end of the day they just want to be able to go to bed at night without worrying if they're going to still be alive by morning. The things that would've worn down most people only serve to sharpen their edge.

A new threat emerges from the hordes of the infected. Monsters who can manipulate the other crawlerz. Monsters who can break the minds of the people trying to survive behind closed doors. This new threat may well signal the beginning of the end for the human race.

This is book 6 of the Crawlerz series.

Enjoy the ride!!!

From the author of "The Zournal" comes a horrifying new series that'll grab you by the throat and take you on a crazy thrill ride through the Apocalypse. In this first book stand with our heroes as Zombies overrun the planet. Watch as those lucky enough to remain 'uninfected' struggle to survive in these extraordinary circumstances. How far will they go for family? They'll need to reach deep within themselves to keep their humanity intact. The Apocalypse will cause some to stand a little taller while others will collapse under the weight of it. Still others will seize the opportunity to prey on their fellow man.

Fast paced and written with an eye for detail. You'll really be able to see yourself with the characters in this story. Fighting the fight along with them. Experience Zombies!

Dear friends,

the stories of Zombies, the Apocalypse, and so on, they abound and sell well- why do you think, we like being scared..??

Would love to hear from you!!

Dr Jasmine

I think it's a form of escapism. A way to imagine yourself in a place where you have to adapt or die. A different challenge than the ho hum of worrying about paying your bills and traffic and all those common modern day concerns. We were hunters for thousands of years and only lately have we been tossed onto couches to watch Netflix for hours a day. Our bodies and our minds remember the struggle. The primordial fear. The hunger. The adrenaline of the hunt. I think that is what calls out to us from Apocalyptic type novels.

Plus they're just fun to read!

Hi RS :o)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts... you are right, of course! those genes of hunting/surviving/overcoming the fear need some sort of exercise, so to speak! As for being fun , sorry to disagree- each to their own! I'd get sleepless nights from violence filled stories.. whilst my hubby would be disturbed by " complex romance" ones haha :o)

On a separate note, some people might be "comforted" by learning how badly fictional characters had suffered.. kind if makes them feel it will NOT happen in real life, and will not happen to them..

Dr Jasmine

They're also stories of hope. I can't think of much more adversity to overcome than the world going dark and filling up with monsters all around you. To be able to survive and eventually thrive in that kind of environment. To band together and try to rebuild civilization in the midst of so much chaos and destruction. It shows the strength of the human spirit. The lengths people will go through to protect their family.

I've also sprinkled in some 'complex romance' plot lines throughout. :-). Try a newly minted vampire crushing on a much more mature three hundred year old one in the midst of a global apocalypse.

Definitely a lot of gore and violence though! They are zombie novels after all :-)

Stories of hope...? such an interesting angle! I haven't thought of it before, RS- thank you for the insight! Would you go as far as saying that reading your novels might be somewhat therapeutic for people with mental health issues..? They might find a parallel with the horror stories inside their mind...and know that there is a hope to escape out of any horror.

Dr Jasmine

Hmm... I'd never really considered them as therapeutic. People do read as an escape though... I write for much the same reason.
