What do you think will happen in this book?

I don't want this to end!! I'll probably cry more than I ever have in the last book. I'm starting to tear up just thinking of Shadowhunters ending... Imma go cry now

I’m interested a lot in the Shadowhunter nusery rhyme and how they say ‘bronze to summon wicked powers’ . To me that means that perhaps only nephilim can summon wicked powers, so then one main villain has to be a nephilim. I also think the 9 princes of hell will tie in somehow. What do you guys think the Wicked Powers are ?

Maybe it’s a demon or demonic force of some kind? Since you summon it.... unless you can summon an object.

Also since you must have bronze, maybe bronze is the only thing that can slay the demon (if it is the wicked power). I mean, you must have bronze to summon it , in case it gets out of control.

And- Cassie says the series will forever change the Shadowhunter world, so maybe it means they all get stripped of their runes? I personally want it to end in the way no demon can ever get back in the earth realm so their isn’t need for shadow hunters, but I don’t think Cassie is that nice with our hearts😥

yeah. Janus (Thule Jace) is supposed to play a big part in it

I will always worry for my babies I don't want anything to happen to them that I won't be able to hear about. To me, every last one if them is real. I will write loads of fanfiction about the end, and I suspect others will too

Yes! I don’t want to imagine how it will end because Cassie could always return to this world, but if this is the permanent ending... but I am here for her writing more series that come before TWP so we get more Shadowhunter content👏🏼

I want a series on Jem's daughter after TWP, but I know that's too much to ask for.😅

But Kit is part of it, so maybe Tessa and Jem will be like worried or something that their son is going into battle and Mina might be part of it

Well that does sound like either Jace or Clary dies- or both. I don't know if Cassie has it in her, and I'd be impressed and horrified if she did.

I think she won’t kill Clary or Jace, but I think if/when they have kids maybe they’ll be named after/in honour of someone who dies. I’m thinking Alec, Simon, or Izzy.

I don't think it'll be them, but I think it'll be Magnus. Yes. That is my theory. If it happens, I will literally break

So who do you guys think the villain/villains will be? I think one will be a shadowhunter, and i still think the princes of hell will be big.

Definitely Janus and I think maybe the Seelie Queen, but I don't know if Ash Morgenstern will be a villain or not.🤔

I agree but I hope they aren't. I can't express how much I hate alternate dimension plots because they never end well. The only time it ended well was in Gemina.

I think the seelie queen will be big, she's always the annoying person stirring up drama.

I don't want her to be big she's done enough in my opinion

But I do agree with your point about the princes of hell. And that leads to my theory that Magnus dies because his father is a prince of hell. Or one of the immortals dies. I strongly believe it'll be one of the immortals

So, Magnus or Tessa. I don't know which one I love more and who's death I'd be broken by more

It would destroy Jem, Kit, and Mina if Tessa dies, and Alec, and maybe the crew of TMI if Magnus dies. I don't think anybody except from Alec would be destroyed if Magnus died though

I think it’ll be Tessa. I think somehow Jem will be killer end of book 2 or middle of book 3, and Tessa makes a sacrifice and gets killed by a prince. And in the epilogue we’ll see the three of them reunite. Really idk, but I want Jem and Will to reunite.

I'm actually kinda ok with the idea of Tessa dying IF Jem also dies. Because then they can go see Will and be happy together and yeah- I'd be totally fine with that if Mina didn't exist.

I want jem and tessa to live like a happy family with mina and kit cuz they deserved it, they been through A LOT, will already had that with tessa so I think he can wait I little bit longer for them to reunite

It is awful but it feels like that may be the only way to solve Janus’ problem. Also- does anyone else think that their will be an epilogue that features all the Shadowhunters from all the generations? Or this could be the last chapter(s). Tessa and Jem get to see Will and Tessa sees her kids. I think if the Shadowhunter universe is forever changed, they either all die or all are stripped of their marks. So maybe this is in heaven? Or the dead Shadowhunters come to give strength to the MCs as they prepare for the final battle. Like in HP *SOPILER* before he faces Voldemort he uses the resurrection stone to see his parents, Sirius, and Lupin again one last time. Idk, but it seems to me that would be a heart breaking but satisfying ending if we got to see all the generations as one.

Looking through tumblr, the riders of Manon (or however you spell taht) are described using the colour bronze (clothes, weapons, appearance) often (and you need bronze to summon wicked powers). Cassie said she couldn’t elaborate on this as it was a spoiler. Why do you guys think it is a spoiler?

Ohhhh maybe because Ty and Kit associated with them and they’re the MCs of TWP, that has something to do with it?
