Jenny (jeoblivion) | 4893 comments For our non-fiction group read in February and March 2015 our theme is History

Nominations will run for a maximum of 7 days or until 7 poll-contestants are chosen. In order to move into poll a book needs to receive a second vote. So second if you are not nominating!

Please stick to one nomination OR one second vote per person.

Should you have a question, feel free to ask in this thread!

Just read it. Yes it's very interesting.

Pink Hm, I can't think of anything right now, as most of my history books are about WW1 or WW2 (which I don't feel like nominating) or they're more biography. I think I'll wait and see what other suggestions come up.

message 7: by Paul (new)

Paul (halfmanhalfbook) Can I nominate The Norman Conquest by Marc Morris. Had a copy for a while now, and really must get to read it

Dhanaraj Rajan | 2962 comments If anyone interested in British Raj/Indian history I can nominate a book - William Dalrymple's White Mughals: Love and Betrayal in Eighteenth-Century India. An interesting book and very well written.
