Hi I am really excited to start reading this book! I was wondering if you had any advice for me. I am in a lot of groups and i want to read a lot of the books of the month. How do you balance that?

How do you balance that?"The best way I balance reading a lot of books is to read a set number of pages of one and then move to another. So, if I'm reading 3 books, i'll read 100 pages of book 1, then move to book 2. read 100 pages of book 2, then read 100 pages of book 3. it helps ensure you're reading bits of each book and not just favoring one over the other.
that's just my system, idk if others have easier/more efficient ones. and for books that are taking me longer to read because the writing or story is more dense, i might decrease it to only reading 50-75 pages instead of 100.

Personally I wouldn’t do that because if I’m reading more than one book at once I start confusing the plots together and it becomes a whole mess so I’d probably split up the month for each book. Like if I had 3 books to read I’d assign 10 days to each book. Most likely it wouldn’t take me 10 days to finish one of them and that gives me extra time with the other ones. It’d be a pretty flexible plan. The more I enjoy the book the faster I’m likely to finish it. But that’s all a hypothetical plan because I’m not in a lot of groups (this group gives me enough things to keep up with, and I control how much stuff we do at once!) and we only have 1 book of the month each month (not counting the readathon book, although I probably should count that).
@Irina hope it works out for you whichever way you decide to split your time between the books! I’m just about to start Sherlock Academy myself so I can’t wait to see if it’s good or not!
confusing plots is definitely a potential issue. usually though i'm reading such a variety of genres so the books are different enough that i'm usually still able to make it work! if i find i'm getting confused i just put one book on hold and continue with the others

I'm 2 chapters in and I'm liking that it's a quick read but it's odd. I can't explain it but it has really weird vibes to it. Like I don't know try-hard vibes like those kid's books that feel like a kid's book. I know I read a lot of middle grade but often it's so well written it doesn't feel like it's been dumbed down but there's something I picked up in this that I don't really like. And it's kinda sexist. I highlighted a couple of low-key sexist quotes so I can include it in a scathing review if it doesn't improve😂 But I'm only 2 chapters in so it might get better! The big plus side to being quick to get through is that I feel like I can keep going without putting in much effort
@Kadi I definitely will tell you which one works out the best! I hope that Sherlock Academy works for us both! Also I already bought all the books in the series!😅😂

I finished reading Sherlock Academy last night. I gave it a 5 stars. I must admit from the beginning i loved it all the way to the end! Such a great book
