Please only nominate one book.. The King book has already been chosen so don't list a King book. Check the bookshelf to see if we've already read the book as a group. Try to link your book so I'm able to make sure I post the right one. Thanks

One book nomination per person. And you'll need to clarify authors.

I grew up in a holler in West Virginia, I mean serious hillbilly. We had a snake handler's church at the end of the holler next to ours. We would sneak over there and peak in the windows to see them. They had snakes in bags that were kept on the altar and were then "handled." This is not made up! It was scintillating. Especially since I was raised very strictly Episcopalian.
