What are your opinions of Rowan?

I feel like now people like to call him toxic for no logical reason, because (besides from being a great character) he has a healthy relationship, so I don't really understand all the hate. He is a supportive male ready to fight for his court.

I totally agree with you!

I love Rowan. He suffered at the hands of a twisted Maeve for hundreds of years. Yes, he was really pushy and cold at first, but I empathize with all that he would have been feeling when he meets Celaena/Aelin. He believes his mate died and is having feelings, which he shut down, for another woman. Thy name is torment. As Valdi says, he is a supportive male ready to fight for his court, his friends and his love. What more do you want. lol

IKR! I don't understand why everyone says SJM endorses "toxic masculinity." During HoF, they both hated EACH OTHER! It was a two-way-street and no one was being particularly abusive or harassing. It's honestly ridiculous. And this was before they had any sort of romantic relationship with each other, so it doesn't even count.
I also love how he doesn't coddle Aelin. When she's particularly exhausted and all" Rowan I don't know if I can do this" he doesn't talk her out of it. He just tells her she needs to do it and is there for her if she needs him. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT PEOPLE!

He's basically my favourite character from the whole throne of glass series. Nothing against Sam, Dorian and Chaol, who are all great characters, but Rowan just is the perfect match for Aelin.

And I love how Rowan is like a tough fae male but when it comes to Aelin he has such vulnerabilities.

I think Aelin and Rowan's relationship is perfectly healthy. They complement each other so well. They're just meant for each other.

When i first met him, I wanted to beat him up, but nowwww... he is Aelins perfect match!!! I have to say, I love their relationship, almost as much as I love the characters!!
