It's time now to collect nominations for our next group read. As our current read is a recent one, this time please could you select something from the Golden Age, or a Classic? Just one English mystery book, please, OR second someone else's. And please suggest something you think most of us would enjoy - but that you will also join in with!

Since lots of us are finding it difficult to get books at the moment, please have an eye to this too. It would help if the book is easy to obtain on Kindle for instance.

More guidelines in the thread above, "Monthly Group Reads" if you're not sure. Thanks! I look forward to what you all suggest :)

Vicky D (readingwithmrsd) | 3 comments I would like to nominate The Tiger in the Smoke by Margery Allingham.
This was recommended to me some years back and I bought the ebook but never got round to reading it. I'd love to finally tackle it. I've checked Amazon and there are lots of ebook editions/options.

Hi Thomas,
Since it's a recent book, it will qualify for our next poll. This month we're nominating golden age mysteries. But do keep it in mind please :)

Ok. I don't read a lot of classic English mysteries. I received this one in a book exchange with an English GR friend while visiting the UK in 2018.
