Tito Athano (bobspringett) | 21 comments Greetings all!

I'm looking for a couple of Beta-readers for a novel, 96k words.

This is written as a mainstream novel (not a 'devotional' or 'inspiring' work) but it features an intelligent, educated and committed Christian who is forced to sort out her beliefs. What is 'certain', what is 'just a way of understanding it' and what is legitimately left as uncertain? The novel was actually inspired by an exam question while studying for my B.Th.

The back-cover blurb ( it sounds a bit 'Dan Brown-ish' to attract non-Christian readers) tentatively reads....

"An archaeological dig in Palestine unearths a document. But this is a document with a difference! Could this be one of the ‘eye-witness accounts’ that Luke used when writing his Gospel?

A hint in the document leads another archaeologist to unearth a skeleton, the oldest yet discovered buried with a Christian text. But then he finds another skeleton buried beneath the first. Could this be the skeleton of Jesus himself?

These discoveries do not happen in a vacuum. Christians of all persuasions, Muslims, Israelis, archaeologists, atheist politicians, all try to bend the evidence to suit their own agendas.

What is the truth here? Or is ‘Truth’ the most insidious agenda of them all?"

Anyone interested?

Hi Kent,

How do I get it to you?

By-the-way, we share Perelandra as one of our 'other world' options.

My email is bspringett@iprimus.com.au
