Here are my March and April reads:

Good Reads

Eats, Shoots & Leaves The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation by Lynne Truss Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation
Lynne Truss
A fast, humorous book about punctuation. Interesting bits about the history and evolution of use along with some practical examples.

Soul Music (Discworld, #16) by Terry Pratchett Soul Music
Terry Pratchett
Not the best book in the series though not a bad way to pass some time. Listened to the audio version which was narrated by Nigel Planer.

Your House Will Pay by Steph Cha Your House Will Pay
Steph Cha
Parts of this book were very powerful with some excellent characterizations but other parts underwhelmed just a bit. Well worth reading though, to gain insight on both Korean and African American lives in Los Angeles.

Nights in White Castle A Memoir by Steve Rushin Nights in White Castle: A Memoir
Steve Rushin
Genial followup to the author's first memoir Sting-Ray Afternoons that takes the reader back to the high school and college days in the eighties. Listened to the audio version which was read by Greg Baglia whose vanilla tone matched the subject matter.

Gone by Midnight by Candice Fox Gone by Midnight
Candice Fox
An entertaining read though I do think the main characters are so much more interesting than the actual plot was in this entry in the series.

OK Read

Eight Perfect Murders by Peter Swanson Eight Perfect Murders
Peter Swanson
Just an OK read for me. I never did connect with the first person narration and while the premise seemed intriguing the execution was off.

I agree with you, Sandi, not just about this book, but the last one as well. Ted and Amanda and their own cases are the draw, not to mention their world: the hostile police, the bikers, their few allies, the ducks. Their investigations aren’t as engaging as their lives.

Bonnie I often like Terry Pratchett books read (especially listening on a long car ride/drive) more than actually ready them.
