Aeris entered his dorm and settled his bag down. He put on some grey duvet and grey-themed items on his fluffy bed, creating a space that made him want to fall asleep immediately. Aeris also put up some paintings, and smiled as it looked like home; up in the sky with white and grey colours swirling around.

Afterwards, Aeris decided to take a walk around the castle, and looked for people to interact with. The bunch that he was with seemed to all disperse and look for their own friends, leaving him alone again.

Aeris entered his dorm once again, and placed his shopping loot down on his bed. He wondered where his room mate was, but he shrugged and sat down. All this while, thoughts of Emerson just filled his head, and he wondered whether she was all right, because everytime he talked about the dance with three of them, her aura would change and he wondered why. He decided that he would head to Emerson's dorm and ask her, instead of pondering by himself.

The God of Wind went into his dorm, and heaved a sigh of comfort. After giving his scarf to Emerson, he was freezing on the way back. Humming to himself, he took a shower and was all warmed up. Throwing on some comfortable clothes, he laid on his bed and stared at the ceiling, replaying the day's events. He slowly drifted to sleep as his eyelids felt heavy, and went into a deep slumber.

Aeris was awoken by the knock, and though he was hallucinating. He decided that since he was awake, he would visit Serenity to see how she was doing. As he opened the door to head out, he was greeted by a pleasant sight.

"Em?" he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. "What are you doing here? I was just about to visit Serenity." he asked gently.

Aeris was too tired to notice the shift in her demeanour, and took the scarf from her, "Thank you, Em. Yeah, I was sleeping, as you can see it's already pretty late." He patted her quickly on the head, and walked into his room to place his scarf down. It still smelt like her, and he liked that.

He walked out afterwards and asked, "Where are you going?"

Aeris nodded, "Have a good rest Emerson, I'll text you soon okay? I just need to check up on Serenity and make sure that she is okay and everything." Cute PJs by the way!" Aeris smirked, but quickly wiped his smirk away as he knew he had to go on.

He failed to see the sadness in her eyes , but he did pull her in and kissed her gently on the forehead. "Rest well, Em," he whispered against her forehead, and walked towards Serenity's dorm.

In Aeris' dorm...

Aeris' phone vibrated, but he didn't hear it as he was deep in his sleep after reaching his own dorm. He did wonder where his room mate went, but he didn't think too much into it and fell into a slumber again.

Serenity flashed a text to Aeris.

Can you help me pick out my dress?

Serenity texted Aeris a picture.

Aeris was surprised to receive two messages when he woke up in the morning. As he yawned, he rubbed his eyes and scrolled through his notifications. He decided to reply in chronological order, starting with Emerson.

Really?! Who is Amelia going with? Her black dress looks gorgeous, I'm sure she would look great with her date.

Then he clicked on his notification with Serenity. She was showing him her dress,

Wow, it looks pretty, but don't you think you should get a simpler dress? There's so much jewellery on it!

(( yeah soz I was creating a character somewhere else and talking to my friends right now ))

I'm not sure who Wolf is, I haven't really interacted with him, but we could all meet up and hang out I guess? :) Aeris replied to her. He put down his phone momentarily, and went to take another warm shower, washing the sleep of off him.

Aeris felt his phone vibrate again after he had changed, and he thought about it before replying.

Maybe in a bit. But do you want to go for classes together?

I think as long as the teacher is ready to teach we can go for it. But did you have anything else in mind? Aeris asked, leaning back against his comfortable pillows.

Serenity replied

well without the jewelry of course!

Serenity sent another text:

Can you meet me at the Gardens?

Alex walked in after Emerson.

As Aeris opened the dorm's door, he receive the text from Serenity and he was at a crossroad. He did not know if he should meet Serenity, or talk to Emerson. But he realised that he wanted to check up on Serenity, which he couldn't as she was not in her dorm.

"Hey Em, and Alex! I need to go and meet Serenity now though, I wanted to check on her yesterday but she was not at her dorm," he smiled apologetically.

(( Christina I'll meet you at the Garden? ))

Alex walked beside Emerson.

Aeris touched Emerson's elbow, and turned her around gently. "Sorry, I've just got to be a good friend all right? I promise I'll make it up to you." He could tell my the shift of her aura that she was disappointed, and slowly, he realised how much he meant to her, and perhaps how much she meant to him.

"No problems, I will, Em," Aeris nodded, and said goodbye to Alex as well. He made sure that he looked presentable, adjusting his hair, and started making his way to the gardens.

Alex followed Emerson.

"Sure," Alex says. She knew Emerson was upset, but she didn't bring it up.

Alex was behind Emerson.

Aeris replied Emerson, chewing on his lip as he finally realised what he had state. Aeris was also at a lost of what to do, and was wondering if she still wanted to go to the dance with him. But he was not sure if they're relationship would be developed even more, he would have to see.

However, the God of Air replied Emerson in the meantime, whilst he was flooded with all his thoughts, Sorry I didn't mean it that way. Look, let's talk about this later. I'm really tired. Forgive me?

After seeing her response, he also put his phone down and sat on his bed. Sometimes he wished he had a pet to snuggle with, but he was alone in his bed and he let his thoughts drift off to somewhere far away, where he was before he came into the academy.

Aeris opened his eyes when he felt the vibration and peeked at his phone.

He replied: Em? What's up. Did you mean to send this to me?

Aeris raised an eyebrow, suspicious of her words. He thought that she must have been lying and replied;

But what did you mean by you messed everything up? I'm worried about you, Em.

Aeris sighed as he didn't want make another visit to another girl's room. He was selfish like that, sometimes he would be the kindest guy on earth, but sometimes he could also be selfish and only care for himself.

Aeris replied: Fine, if you say so Em.

She seemed cold and distant at that particular moment, but Aeris decided that maybe girl drama just wasn't for him.

But the nice part of him reminded himself to visit Emerson later in the evening. Bring her flowers maybe. For her to forgive him for something he didn't know he did wrong for.

(( he's just resting now! i'm heading to bed too, so like he's on pause for now ))

Aeris looked at his phone, and thought it was about time to make up with her. Hey, I'm feeling better now. Are you still at the cafe? Want to drink hot cocoa or something? Aeris asked.

Want to head to the cafe then? he asked, wanting to go somewhere else except for the four walls of dorms.

(( meet you at the cafe? ))

Aeris had just gotten back from the ice cream parlor, and the sun was already setting. He felt a buzz from his phone and wondered whether it could be Hazel, but realised it was Emerson and he smiled. She told him that she was at the cafe.

Aeris quickly replied,

Right, I'm coming. See you there!

And he took a scarf, wrapped it around his neck to keep warm and headed towards the cafe.

Aeris brought Emerson to his dorm, because he didn't want her dorm mate to be bothered, and most of the time his own roomie wasn't even in the dorm.

"Hey Emerson, we're here," he said as he let her lie on his bed, putting her down gently.

Aeris went to grab a glass of warm water for Emerson - it always worked like magic. "Here, take the water, it will hydrate you and make you not feel like crap," he handed her the water, and sat by her on his bed.

"And also, alcohol was in that drink. It was only supposed to be serve in the lounge, so I'm not sure why it's served there," he said, shrugging.

Aeris frowned as she pulled away, wondering why she did it. They literally shared a kiss an hour ago, but now she seemed quite apprehensive. He took her hand back again, and held it in his - it did seem kind of small relative to his own hand.

"You should get some rest, do you need me to get clothes from your dorm? You can stay over tonight. I'm tired too, I don't think I'm in the mood to head back to the ball," Aeris told her.

Aeris nodded, "You stay here. I'll be right back." And he went out of the dorm, and went to Emerson's so that he could grab her some comfortable PJs.

When he was back at his dorm, he placed the PJs on the bed next to Emerson, brushing her fringe away from her face. "Here, I also brought your towel. I didn't bring your facial essentials though - there were so many, I didn't know what to pick," Aeris laughed, and looked at her with a smile.

"Yeah, that's why I brought you the towel. Feel free to use whatever you want," Aeris nodded, pointing at the bathroom. He needed to take a shower after her, he was all sticky and sweaty after the dance.

"Hey stranger, nice singing there. Did you take singing lessons or something?" Aeris said, looking up from his phone when he heard the bathroom door open and close again. Emerson looked way better in her PJs, and especially when she put her hair in that bun. It made her look more natural, and less sick like she was previously.

Aeris rolled his eyes, but grabbed his clothes and towel before making his way to the washroom to clean up. He took a nice warm shower, and washed off the day's grime, slathering his favourite soap and shampoo. When he was done, he rinsed off and changed into a pair of jogging pants, that hung low on his waist, and a singlet that showed off his muscles.

"Now do I still look gross?" he walked out, and dried his hair in the process.

"Yeah, those are just my nerdy collection. I didn't pin you for a book kind of girl," Aeris said as he took a seat on his bed, leaning back against his plush pillows and closing his eyes, but not really sleeping, just resting his eyes. "What kind of books do you usually read? Any of those interest you?" he asked, cocking an eye open.

(( I'm going to go off for now, I might appear sporadically because I'm still rp-ing in other groups. If I don't come back it means I've slept, it's pretty late here ))

"Without my wind, literally so many things cannot happen. And I learn all those from those books. Let me guess, you read about water don't you," Aeris smirked at her, but the noticing that she was looking at the floor.

"You all right?" he asked.

"Wow tech nerd," Aeris teased her, and gave her a hug. "I hope you're all right. Just come back whenever and sleep all right? You do need the rest." he said quietly, and bid her goodbye.

He decided that he would go to sleep first, and after she left his room, he turned off the lights and closed his eyes, falling immediately into a deep sleep.

Aeris was jolted awake by the sound of barking. "Em, why did you bring whiskey with you? I was having such a good sleeeep," he groaned, and turned around, back facing her before he went back to sleep, gently shoving Whiskey away before he did that
