This week y'all (and I) are going to be discussing none other than.... Grace Blackthorn!
There was a tie between her and Cordelia Carstairs, and I used a random name picker that picked Grace Blackthorn. So.

Grace annoyed me so much in Chain of Gold!! She's very manipulative

I think all she does it's been afraid of Tatiana and how she beat her and she's willing to do anything to escape from her, there's also all those demons that had her controlled all the time, I don't like her actions but I understand her and I hope she can be free someday

I don't think it's because she's afraid of Tatiana, she's just so thankful that she saved her so she does what Tatiana wants her to. Also, I don't think she used to be Grace Carwright or whatever, I think that's a lie. Because she has siren powers, so she's obviously not a pure blooded Shadowhunter

I really hate her and I agree with you Tessa- there’s no way she can be full Shadowhunter. I hope that Chain Of Iron talks about that more. I just think she’s super manipulative and I think perhaps it’s her Siren side doing those things while her Shadowhunter side is more nice I guess? Since she obviously is at least half Shadowhunter as she can bear runes. I just want her to get out of James’ life ASAP

okay I've read 275 pages so far and I too dislike her .. feels like she is evil!! can't believe how different it is between Carstairs and Blackthorns and herondales, Fairchilds and lightwoods too

Yeah that part bothered me also. Even though Grace is manipulative, James isn't helping the matter by constantly returning back to her and listening to her.
